Benjamin Smail is a passionate wildlife videographer and photographer who finds great joy in expressing the stories of nature through his art. With several years of experience, he has developed a wealth of knowledge that he is delighted to share with fellow travellers on their wildlife adventures.

His journeys have taken him to incredible places, including a memorable two-month stint filming the short series “The Gambia,” which reflects his deep connection to this vibrant country. Benjamin enjoys capturing the untold stories of the natural world, immersing himself in the beauty and complexity of wildlife and landscapes.

Benjamin is proud to have received recognition for his work, such as an award in his field. He loves to play and experiment with his photography, embracing creative techniques and breaking the conventional rules to tell more expressive stories.

As your guide and tour leader, Benjamin is dedicated to helping you capture stunning images while offering insights and techniques in wildlife photography and videography. He values the importance of understanding the wildlife you encounter and appreciates the rich culture, history, and cuisine of the places you visit.
